About Carlos Frischmuth

Carlos has been Managing Director since 2018 in the Staffing and HR Consulting Services sector. Prior to that, he spent around 12 years as Head of a Business Unit focused on Public Services, Information Technology, Construction & Property, and Engineering — and more recently, Legal, Healthcare, and Education. In addition to his work as a labour market and workforce expert, he is also the Founder and Chairman of the Freelance Contracting Federation. In 2021, he published his book “New Work Bullshit.” His professional journey began with studies in Political Science in Mannheim and Economics in Dublin, followed by an MBA from Ludwigshafen in 1999. Shortly after graduating, he began his career at Hays (then known as Ascena) at the company’s headquarters in a sales role. He later advanced to Department Manager and, in 2005, became Head of the Berlin Office. In addition to his role as Managing Director, Carlos volunteers as President of the Bundesverband für Selbständige Wissensarbeit and serves on the Advisory Board of the DVNW (German Procurement Network). He has been a member of the Public Procurement Chamber in Berlin since 2017 and served as a commercial judge at the Berlin District Court from 2014 to 2022.
